University of Southern California

At the university’s founding in 1880,
Los Angeles was a frontier town with no paved streets,
electric lights, or telephones.

Just four years later, the University of Southern California graduated its first class of three students. Today, this nonprofit, private research university serves as a global center of education for promising young trailblazers in all sectors and societies of the world. Now spanning over 150 square acres in the heart of Los Angeles and minutes away from many of the city’s top attractions, USC offers an unrivaled destination for culture, academia, and entertainment.
